What makes Medicash's Virtual GP service different?
Provided through HealthHero Medicash’s Virtual GP service comes with no time limits on consultations so you’ll never feel rushed. Here’s what it includes:
Phone consultations
24/7, 365 days a year access to GP’s for advice, reassurance, diagnosis and where appropriate private prescriptions.
Video consultations
Consult with a GP face to face by video call. Available 8am – 10pm, UK time, 7 days a week. Excluding Christmas Day
Private prescriptions
Should the doctor feel you would benefit from prescription medication they will issue a private prescription. HealthHero’s pharmacy partner will then contact you to arrange delivery to a nominated address or collection from your chosen pharmacy.
Open referrals
If the GP believes your condition requires further investigation or treatment, they can issue you with an open referral letter. This will be emailed to you, or can be sent by post on request.
